1. Daily wipe

Soft, lint-free cloth or microfiber

After wearing, gently wipe the stone and metal to remove skin oils, lotions, and fingerprints.

2. Quick rinse 

Bowl, warm water, mild dish soap

Add warm water and 2-3 drops of mild dish soap to the bowl. Swirl briefly, then run under warm running water.

Plug the sink or rinse in a bowl to avoid losing small pieces down the drain.

3. Soak & soft-brush deep clean

Bowl, warm water, mild dish soap, soft toothbrush 

Soak jewelry 10-20 minutes in soapy water. Clean under the stone and in crevices with small circular movements with a soft brush. Rinse and pat dry.

Brush lightly; strong rubbing may loosen prongs. Inspect prongs while drying.

4. Rinse thoroughly & dry

Warm running water, a lint-free cloth

Wash the piece thoroughly to get rid of all soap. Wipe completely, then dry on a clean towel. Store when dry.

Avoid paper towels. Check no trapped water in the settings.

5. Gentle polishing

Jewelry polishing cloth

Gently polish the steel band to regain shine; do not use harsh polishes on plated pieces.

6. Occasional ammonia soak 

1 part household ammonia, 6 parts water, bowl, soft brush.

To clean up extremely dirty, rugged diamond jewelry: Immerse briefly, 1-2 minutes, in a dilute solution of ammonia, then brush, rinse, and dry.

5-10 minutes total

Use only on plain settings and non-porous stones; do not use plated, antique, delicate, or mixed-stone objects. Full-strength ammonia should not be used.

7. Ultrasonic / steam cleaning

Take pieces to a jeweler for ultrasonic or steam cleaning and inspection.
